Whenever I hear someone mention they are going to do a plastering project, especially in the older homes of my neighborhood, I say: “you must call my friend Bert Kelley!” His expertise is in restoration, he is really smart, really fair, really organized, really, really great at his craft. And then, I pulled out a scrap piece of paper from my purse, my phone directory, and immediately wrote his number down; that’s how confident I was about making the recommendation.

Bert was on-time and on-budget, professional, and cleaned up the work area each day. He had the task of matching a thick 1926, Spanish plaster wall pattern for a couple sections as well as repairing some water damaged flat ceiling surfaces and did both perfectly. Bert was trustworthy and did a great job for us. I wouldn’t hesitate hiring him again.

This company is a “must hire” if restoration of decorative plaster in churches and theaters and homes is required. They do great work, are reliable, fair and have an appreciation for old world techniques.

Bert did a great job! He is truly an artist. I am new to the area, and it is difficult to know whom to trust. I gave him the keys to my home and went on vacation. I returned to find a seamless repair to my ceiling. It actually looks better than it did originally. You can tell he takes tremendous pride in his work. A bonus for me is that he knows the area (The East Side) and has respect for the architecture of these great old homes. On a personal note, he’s a really nice, interesting guy.
